Thursday Schedule Detail

Session Name: Fire-Rescue/Law Enforcement~~Resources – Round Peg in a Square Hole
Session Description:

In a crunch, there’s always the temptation just to get some – in fact, any – resources to help during emergency responses. Are you getting the right resources? What should the IMT know before requesting resources? What should the local jurisdiction be cognizant of about the resources being ordered? Who decides more resources are needed? Who is responsible for tracking those resources? When do resources get demobilized and who makes those decisions? This presentation will delve into both the local jurisdiction’s and the IMT’s perspectives and discuss best practices for being sure you’re not trying to put a round peg in a square hole!

Day of Week: Thursday
Time Start: 1:30PM
