Session Description:

As emergency management, public safety, and elected officials develop plans for communicating with the public during emergencies, there are certain best practices that can help ensure that the whole community has equal access to emergency information.  This includes the use of ASL, Captioning, pre-scripted multiple language information, etc. This training will share examples of programs that are helping to reach this targeted population group, and support steps in developing a comprehensive communication capability.
