One very important role for the Emergency Manager is keeping your local County/City Administrator informed and engaged so they can help brief the Executive group to improve coordination, consistent messaging, and provide quick answers to questions as they arise as disasters are happening real time. Let us address the everyday communication, moving toward pre storm, the post storm, but not forgetting about communicating the topics from state and federal partnerships back over to the executive groups and administrators.
