Tuesday Schedule Detail

Session Name: Hurricane History~~The History and Outlook of Satellite Remote Sensing in Hurricanes
Session Description:

Hurricanes occur in the data-void ocean, and monitoring the storms have been a challenge. The advent of the satellite era in the 1960’s provided a means of continuous imagery which has evolved into data products, higher resolution, and improved model predictions. The next satellite era has begun with the launch of GOES-R. Presentations will expound on satellite history, the upcoming GOES-R products, and the Cyclone Global Navigation Satellite System (CYGNSS).

Day of Week: Tuesday
Time Start: 8:30AM
