Session Name: Introduction to Web-Based HURREVAC~~1/2 Day (Reservation Required)
Session Description:

The National Hurricane Program is transitioning to a web-based version of the HURREVAC decision support tool for government emergency managers. The new web-based version is scheduled to become fully operational during the 2018 hurricane season.
The 1/2 day Introduction to Web-Based HURREVAC session will provide information on the development process and the advantages of the web-based version, discuss features and funtionality new to the web version, provide a demonstration of the user interface, go through an interactive user tutorial, and discuss the schedule and process for transition from the desktop software to the web-based version. Participants will receive a log-in to access the beta version that will be available for use prior to the release of the operational version. Each student will need to bring a laptop and have access to a WiFi sources to ensure internet connectivity, which is required to access the web-based version of HURREVAC. The laptop must also have an internet browser installed.
